Perfection

I've been working on my self-promotional presentation for my Multi-media II class, and it's finished! The presentation's not til the 28th, so I'm in good shape. I'm having some friends look it over for typos, etc., but it's finished. Good thing, too, as you never know what's going to come down during the last couple of weeks of the semester. Warm weather, hormones and spring fever make for lethal combinations some times.

So, you're probably wondering what all this blather has to do with perfection. Take a close look at the photo accompanying tonight's entry. I took that earlier this evening after work. Have you ever seen anything much more perfect than this four-petalled bloom? I haven't.

Life is such a mystery and full of beauty. All we have to do is to slow down and pay attention. It's certainly there for all to see.

It often amazes me (when I do eventually open my eyes again) how easily we forget the wonder and beauty everpresent in the world. I've been doing some eye opening, smelling of the roses, weeping at the sunset lately (all those cliche moments in life.) And it's been refreshing.

Thanks for this reminder! And congrats on finishing your project!! what a stress relief.
